Foreign Minister Highlights Preparations for PM’s Upcoming Visit to China

Sudurpaschim: Nepal’s Foreign Minister, Dr. Arzu Rana, announced ongoing preparations for Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s planned visit to China. Speaking to media at Dhangadhi Airport, Dr. Rana shared that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is awaiting China’s agenda proposals for the visit while actively reviewing Nepal-China cooperation and existing agreements.
Agenda and Collaboration Underway
Dr. Rana confirmed that discussions with the Prime Minister will finalize the visit’s agenda in the coming days. She emphasized the significance of Nepal’s close ties with its immediate neighbors, China and India, highlighting Nepal’s focus on fostering mutual cooperation and understanding.
Strengthening Political Stability
The Foreign Minister, who is also a senior Nepali Congress leader, noted the establishment of a mechanism within the coalition government aimed at improving coordination between political parties. This initiative seeks to enhance governmental stability and effectiveness.
Dr. Rana made these remarks en route to her home district, Dadeldhura, where she is set to attend a festival at the Ugratara Temple.
